Leave No Trace Leadership

What kind of leadership is required to “leave no trace?” What kind of leader “plants trees the shade for which they know they will never sit under?”

After hearing this phrase during an engagement with a particular organization, we thought we would explore the idea as a framework for leadership.

The result is Leave No Trace Leadership, based on seven principles by which leaders leave no negative trace of their having been where leadership was exhibited.

The Leave No Trace Leadership framework was developed and drafted into a Winning In The Workplace report. This concept is now a catalyst for ongoing research regarding Leave No Trace Leadership.
